White corundum is a compound of Al2O3, with a density of 3.95g/cm³ and a hardness of 9.0 Mohs hardness. It has a tripartite crystal structure and a compressive strength of 2,000 MPa, a tensile strength of 400 MPa and flexural strength of 480 MPa. It also has a thermal expansion coefficient of 8×10^-6 K^-1 and a thermal conductivity of 29 W/(m-K). White corundum has a high temperature stability and can withstand extremely high temperatures. It also has an electrical resistivity of about 10^14 Ω-cm. Its optical properties vary from transparent to translucent, and its refractive index is 1.76. Its colour usually appears white, but can also take the form of a light yellow, light blue, pink or other colors.

White Aluminum Oxide is typically packaged in 25kg bags, with a maximum of 900kg per pallet. All bagged products are secured to the pallet with plastic wrap.
