Ceramic Beads blasting media is a Zirconia based spherical blasting media, with smooth surface and good elasticity, no iron polution, and can be recycled multi time. It performs efficiently both in dry or wet blasting equipment. Also called ceramic media, ceramic bead blasting media, or ceramic blasting beads, it is of high hardness, good elasticity, high gloss and high impact strength. Furthermore, these beads feature a production process of melt high-quality imported zircon sand into liquid at high temperature, and then spray it into balls, with the zirconia ceramic spheres being sieved and removed by magnetic separation to obtain particles with high roundness, high strength and uniform particle size.

The main uses of ceramic beads are blast cleaning, debluring, removing oxice layers of castings and forging parts, metal surface finishing, and pretreatment before coating and plating. Additionally, it is widely used for sandblasting and surface treatment of aviation parts, stainless steel plates, structural parts, stainless steel kitchenware, medical devices, mobile phone/laptop shell, automobile chassis/engine, sports equipment and other industries.



Surface treatment consistency
The main component of ceramic shot is zirconia, with Vickers hardness (microhardness) of 700hv and Rockwell hardness of 600hrc. The density and specific gravity are also much higher than those of glass beads, making it ideal for achieving adequate metal depth and uniform surface finish. The absolute consistency of the blasting strength is much higher than that of glass beads processing, and the wear resistance is high.

Environmentally friendly
Ceramic shot has low dust emission, and the crushing rate is much lower than that of glass beads. The wear resistance and elasticity are very uniform. The production process of the burrs is stable and reliable, and its dust emission is minimal, making it harmless to human body.

Low equipment loss
