The main component of ceramic beads is zirconia, which is mainly used for surface treatment such as sand blasting and shot peening. The production process of ceramic shot is to melt high-quality imported zircon sand into liquid at high temperature, and then spray it into balls.The zirconia ceramic spheres are sieved and removed by magnetic separation to obtain particles with high roundness, high strength and uniform particle size. The spherical particles of ceramic shot can achieve better surface brightness during sandblasting, while the workpiece itself does not change color. It is widely used for sandblasting and surface treatment of aviation parts, stainless steel plates, structural parts, stainless steel kitchenware, medical devices, mobile phone / laptop shell, automobile chassis / engine, sports equipment and other industries.
Z series Ceramic beads shot peening media are zirconia-based ideal shot peening beads with high hardness and high strength, and widely used in aerospace industry and automotive industry.
B series Ceramic beads blasting media are zirconia-based blasting beads with high hardness and surface smoothness. As one recyclable sandblasting media, it is suitable for the blasting, finishing, cleaning, deburring, surface pretreatment in the process of metal parts production and maintenance.

Ceramic sand provides many advantages due to its spherical and smooth surface which does not damage the workpiece. It has good elasticity which allows it to bounce back from multiple angles while it is sandblasting. This is especially useful for complex metal and plastic workpieces as it helps to eliminate stress and can improve their service life. The ceramic sand has a very low breakage rate, reducing the cost of materials, workers, and reloading, making it a cost effective option. It generally leaves a much higher surface finish than glass sand, and its service life can be up to 20-30 times longer, producing less dust, creating a cleaner working environment while providing no potential silicosis danger to employees. The ceramic sand also has uniform size distribution and no porosity. It has high toughness, hardness and impact resistance along with a high particle density, allowing faster grinding speed with the same strength sandblasting of glass beads. It also has a higher elastic modulus of 330GPa, with larger impact energy and thus reduces the shot peening pressure, higher shot peening efficiency and reduced energy consumption, which cuts production costs. Ceramic sand is highly stable, provides resistance and protection against corrosive chemical liquids, high temperatures and has a small coefficient of thermal expansion and high insulation. It also has a greater density than glass sand and steel bead sand, with greater hardness. It has the advantage of no iron element pollution to the workpiece, so no metal powder residue is left on the workpiece surface, with no color bias in reducing the natural metal colour.
