Brown corundum is produced using high-quality bauxite, anthracite, and iron filings. The material is subjected to arc smelting at a temperature of 2000°C or higher. Subsequently, it is crushed and plasticized using a self-grinding machine, magnetically sorted to remove iron particles, and graded into various sizes. The texture of brown corundum is incredibly dense and hard and comes in high spherical pellets.

 

Brown corundum abrasives have highly desirable characteristics, including high purity, good crystallization, strong fluidity, low coefficient of linear expansion, and corrosion resistance. Over the years, this abrasive has been utilized by various fire-proof production companies, who have verified that it does not crack, chalk, or explode during use.
