Zirconia (ZrO 2 ) microbeads offer numerous advantages, including high strength, toughness, density, and hardness, excellent wear and corrosion resistance, making them widely used in the grinding industry.

These microbeads have good overall performance, such as uniform particle size, round shape, high hardness and strength, and low wear rate compared to ordinary glass (up to 5-10 times). Additionally, they are easy to clean and can be reused in industrial processes.

The high-performance zirconia microbeads have a particle size between 0.8mm-2.2mm, a zirconia content of 94.6%, and a white luster. They have a Mohs hardness of over 9 (HRA can reach over 90), and a density of over 6.0g/cm 3 . These beads also have high toughness, wear resistance, a thermal expansion coefficient of 4-7×10 -6 /℃, and a compressive strength of 1000-1300MPa. This results in a low wear rate (0.02kg/h).
