Brown Aluminum Oxide
Brown Aluminum Oxide is made by melting the raw materials with a powerful, 3500 KVA furnace. It is a perfect material for various general abrasive applications such as in bonded abrasive tools, used for polishing and sandblasting. Even though Aluminum Oxide has a lower hardness and abrasive capacity compared with diamond, boron carbide, and silicon carbide, it can still be used for grinding ferrous materials and for finishing hard materials. Moreover, it is also popularly employed as a refractory material of the highest quality.


Brown Corundum is used as a sandblasting surface treatment due to its relatively high density, which helps to keep dust to a minimum and improve operator visibility. This is in contrast to slag, which, due to its breakability, forms a glass phase structure and is prone to shattering into small particles, resulting in an increase of dust particles in the air and environmental pollution.
