Brown Corundum is made of high-quality bauxite as raw material, anthracite and iron filings. It is made by arc smelting at a temperature of 2000°C or higher. This material is further processed by undergoing crushing, magnetic selection to take out iron particles, and sieving into different sizes. It is dense and hard with its spherical pellets suitable for the production of ceramics, abrasive resins, grinding, polishing, sandblasting, and precision casting. It can also be applied to the manufacture of high-grade refractories.
