Brown Corundum Abrasive boasts a number of features, including high purity, good crystallization, strong fluidity, low coefficient of linear expansion, and corrosion resistance. To create this product, bauxite is fused in an electric arc furnace at high temperatures and converted into a brownish-coloured material, with high hardness and extreme toughness. Furthermore, brown fused alumina has high temperature resistance, strong erosion resistance, high machinery strength, and thermal stability, making it suitable for a range of shaped refractories.

Brown Aluminum Oxide is manufactured using the highest quality raw materials, and a 3500 KVA furnace. It is the best option for general abrasive applications in bonded abrasive tools, polishing and sandblasting grit. While it is not as hard or abrasive as diamond, boron carbide, and silicon carbide, it is effective for grinding ferrous materials and finishing tough and hard materials. It is also used as high-class refractory materials and is available both in macro and micro powder form, in both F and P grades.
