Brown Corundum Abrasive is a high-purity, crystallized product with strong fluidity, low coefficient of linear expansion, and corrosion resistance which has been proven to have no explosion, no chalking, and no cracking in the application process. Its cost-effectiveness is much higher than traditional Brown Corundum, making it the best aggregate and filler for fused alumina refractories.


Brown Fused Alumina is produced in an electric arc furnace with bauxite at temperatures of up to 2000°C. It is brown coloured and shows high hardness and toughness and is resistant to high temperatures, erosion, strong machinery strength, and thermal stability. This makes it an ideal raw material for making shaped refractories.



Brown corundum was used as sandblasting surface treatment, because of its relatively high density, so that is less dust in the process of sandblasting. This ensures operator health and safety, at the same time it can improve operator visibility.


Different from conventional abrasive materials, brown corundum is a pure non-toxic mineral, which does not contain harmful free silicon substances that lead to silicosis, toxic heavy metals or radioactive pollutants. In addition, the low consumption and recyclability of products can greatly reduce the amount and cost of waste disposal after the product is used.
