Product Description:
Brown Fused Alumina has the characteristics of high purity, good crystallization, strong fluidity, low coefficient of linear expansion, and corrosion resistance. In addition, its application process features no explosion, no chalking, and no cracking, far better than the cost-effectiveness of traditional brown corundum. It is proven to be the best aggregate and filler for fused alumina refractories.
This product is produced by fusion of bauxite in a tilting electric arc furnace at high temperatures. It has an array of concentration-worthy features, including high temperature resistance, strong erosion resistance, high machinery strength, thermal stability, as well as great hardness and toughness. Therefore, it is very suitable for the manufacturing of shape refractories.
Brown Aluminum Oxide is fired with premium raw materials and 3500 KVA furnace, and perfect as a general abrasive material in bonded abrasive tools, polishing and sandblasting. Although having lower hardness and abrasive capacity than diamond, boron carbide, and silicon carbide, Brown Aluminum Oxide is extremly popular for grinding ferrous material and finishing tough and hard materials. It is also widely used as a high-class refractory material and can be found in both F and P grade in macro and micro powder form.
Features:
Brown corundum was used as sandblasting surface treatment, because of its relatively high density, so that is less dust in the process of sandblasting. This ensures operator health and safety, at the same time it can improve operator visibility.
Brown corundum, under a certain pressure, can quickly impact the surface of the object with a large number of sharp edges, so it is regarded as a very fast spray grinding method. The acceleration and velocity of particles in the air flow are a function of inertance and particle size. The smaller the particle, the easier it is to accelerate and thus produce a higher impact force on the surface of the object, so that resulting in a very high cleaning rate, usually twice as fast as other conventional abrasives.
Brown corundum is very suitable for many fields. Normally, it can be reused several times. If it has not lost its cutting ability after the first time, the number of cycles can be more. Without cutting ability, brown corundum can also be recycled and applied to the construction industry as cement additive.

Applications:
Brown Corundum is an abrasive that is used in a wide range of industrial production operations. It is ideal for cutting complex shapes in a variety of materials and is often used in precision casting for the aerospace, automotive, and medical industries. Brown Corundum is an extremely heat resistant material, making it well-suited for lining materials for furnaces and kilns. It is also used as a grinding paste, binding agent for diamond grinding wheels, and coated abrasives for surface finishing and material removal operations.
Brown Corundum is often used in ultrasonic grinding, which is a non-contact machining process, as well as for stone materials cutting. It is also an effective dry sanding material and is used in non-skid flooring materials to provide traction and prevent slips and falls. With its wide range of applications, Brown Corundum is an essential material in a variety of industrial production operations.
