Its crystal structure follows a tripartite crystal system, and it has a compressive strength of up to 2000 MPa, tensile strength of 400 MPa, and flexural strength of 480 MPa.Its thermal expansion coefficient is 8 × 10-6 K-1, and its thermal conductivity is 29 W/(m-K). It has high thermal stability, and can handle incredibly high temperatures. Its resistivity is around 1014 Ω-cm. From an optical perspective, it is normally transparent or translucent, with a refractive index of 1.76. And its color can be white, light yellow, light blue, pink, etc.
