Brown corundum is made of high-quality bauxite as raw material, anthracite and iron filings.It is produced by arc smelting at a temperature which is above 2000°C. Its texture is then crushed and plasticized by a self-grinding machine, while iron is magnetically selected and filtered out. Through sieving, it is categorized into various sizes. Brown corundum has characteristics of being high, dense and spherical, thus making it essential for accurate casting and forming of ceramic, abrasive resin and grinding components. It is also very suitable for polishing, sandblasting and precision casting.
