The chemical constitution of Al2O3 includes more than 99.4 percent Al2O3, 0.04 percent SiO2, 0.04 percent Fe2O3 and 0.30 percent Na2O.

The physical property of Al2O3 is white in colour, with 9 Mohs hardness, 3.9 g/cm3 true density, 1.60~1.95g/cm3 bulk density and Ig-Loss Below 0.09 percent.
