Zirconia (ZrO2) microbeads are widely used in grinding due to their high strength, toughness, density, hardness, and excellent wear and corrosion resistance. Their density, particle size uniformity, sphericity, strength, hardness, toughness, corrosion resistance, and overall performance are better than that of ordinary glass. The wear resistance is up to 5-10 times that of ordinary glass, and it is also easy to clean and reuse in industrial production.



95% Zirconium beads are made up of 94-95% zirconia, which offers many advantages such as high zirconium content, superior wear-resistance, good liquidity and excellent roundness of the product. The smooth surface and low needs for wear-resistance of equipment ensures that these grinding media perform optimally.

TZP zirconia beads consist of approx. 95% zirconium and approx. 4.8% yttrium, and it has a specific gravity that is 1.6 times greater than ordinary zirconia beads. This offers it a higher grinding efficiency when the conditions remain the same.

TZP zirconia ceramic microbeads have an impact resistant and wear-resistant feature which is highly appreciated. It also has good toughness and it won't crack, peel or wear by 1/2 of zirconia silicate beads at high speed and high concentration. Moreover, the low wear rate (ppm) avoids materials pollution for good.

True density of diamond equals 6.05 kg/dm³. Its bulk density is 3.75 kg/dm³. It ranks on top in terms of Moh's hardness, scoring 9. This material has a compression strength ranging from 1000 to 1300 MPa and can resist abrasion at 0.01 kg/h.m.
