Product Description

Alumina Oxide Ceramic Shot Peening 5.0mm Balls 2040 °C Melting Point

DESCRIPTION

Generally, we classify 60% -- 65% alumina content as aluminum ball, 75% -- 80% alumina content as high aluminum ball, and more than 90% alumina content as high aluminum ball. The high aluminum ball is subdivided into 90 porcelain, 92 porcelain, 95 porcelain and 99 porcelain. Because of its high production cost, 99 porcelain is rarely mass-produced by large manufacturers, mainly by hand in some special ceramics factories.

FEATURES

· Wear and fatigue resistance: Alumina oxide balls have good resistance to wear and fatigue, making them ideal for long-term use in harsh environments.

· Hydrophilic properties: Alumina oxide balls are hydrophilic, meaning they attract water molecules and can be used as water treatment filters.

· Sterilizability: Alumina oxide balls can be sterilized by autoclaving or irradiation, making them suitable for medical and surgical applications.

· Environmental friendliness: Alumina oxide balls are environmentally friendly and do not contain harmful substances such as lead, cadmium, or mercury.

APPLICATION

· Grinding and milling media: Alumina balls are commonly used as grinding media in ball mills, grinding jars, and vibratory mills to grind and disperse materials.

· Catalysts support: Alumina balls are widely used as catalyst supports due to their high surface area and thermal stability. They provide a stable substrate for the catalytic material and can be shaped into various sizes and shapes.

· Chemical processing: Alumina balls are used in chemical processing as fillers, filtering media, and support materials for catalysts to improve chemical reactions.
